The rave up commences on Vejgaard Ambient's second tape for us, as "Free Composer" presents a perfect balance of warm, spirited rhythmic/synth workouts bordering on pop, to more subdued basement blizzards, such you can dance to in shoes of haze. The technicolour(s) of cosmic fantasy, merging with the often stark melancholy of Northern Denmark; grey skies and effervescent glee. If/when you need a breather (inhale/exhale), side B displays two welcome, longer form drift delights – ambient indeed, but intricate of composition, and beautiful enough to warrant repeated listens.
