Disc 1: Recording made in conjunction with Sire Records (NYC), Blue Horizon Records (London) and the Memphis Blues Society. Recorded at The Municipal Shell, Overton Park, Memphis, Tennessee on Saturday 20th July 1968. Originally released on the album "The 1968 Memphis Country Blues Festival" (Blue Horizon 7-63210).

Disc 2: A Blue Horizon (US) Production. Recorded at Ardent Studios, Memphis, Tennessee on Sunday 21st July 1968. Originally released on the album "Memphis Hot Shots" (Blue Horizon 7-63229) except for 2-12 and 2-13, both originally released in that format, on the album "Stars of the 1969-1970 Memphis Country Blues Festival" (Sire (US) SES 97015).

Digitally mastered at Sound Mastering. All titles transferred from the original two track analogue tapes except for Tracks 2-12 and 2-13 which were transferred from vinyl.

No durations are printed on the release.
