The Stress Factor is an underground Metal show on WUML 91.5 broadcasting from the briney depths of Lowell, MA. Started in 1986, The Stress Factor was the first Metal show to grace the (formerly) WJUL lineup and is one of the longest running shows still in existence at the UMass Lowell student-run radio station. The Stress Factor now regularly features local and touring Metal bands performing live in the subterranean WUML studios. This compilation is a document of some of the recent live performances of these largely undiscovered bands.
