Since the 1999 remastered edition came out a mistake regarding the recording date is printed on all the US and UK/European reissues and represses on the backsleeve:
Recorded on April 21, 1967 at the Van Gelder Studio, Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. All transfers from analog to digital were made at 24-bit resolution. Tracks 1 to 7 originally issued as Blue Note BLP 4123 and BST 84123.
The actual recording date is January 8, 1963.
April 21, 1967 is the recording date of 'The Real McCoy' album by McCoy Tyner; also recorded by Rudy van Gelder.
