Israel Putnam el Americano (T Putnam Hill) and Ervalizer (Ervo Perez) make audio collages of the global south.“Israel Putnam el Americano y Ervalizer - s/t” was recorded at Casa Taller 12 (Tucapel 233 - Esquina Seminario, metro Irarrázaval) in Santiago, Chile. All samples and sounds were played on July 17, 2009 in the final hours of Hill’s sojourn in Chile. This first album is the culmination of 6 months of performing, recording, creating, and working together.
Hill and Perez also perform together in AWESOME (pronounced ah-way-so-may) with Martin Frye. All three members of AWESOME also performed in the trashy improvisation sessions of Twilinght Mongo.
