This release gives no information on the recording dates, and neglects to mention that it is in fact a compilation. The tracks were originally on two separate albums, released under different group names, as follows:

1. The first five tracks were recorded in 1998 by D. Moebius of Cluster, Mani Neumeier of Guru Guru, Jürgen Engler of Die Krupps, Chris Karrer of Amon Düül II, and Zappi Diermaier & Jean Herve Peron both of Faust. They were released under the group name Space Explosion as their eponymous & sole album in 1998 on two different labels, Cleopatra (USA) and Captain Trip (Japan).

2. The last four tracks were recorded and released in 1996 by the Cosmic Couriers 1, consisting of Moebius, Neumeier and Engler, on their sole album 'Other Places'. This featured a total of nine tracks and, once again, was released by Cleopatra (USA) and Captain Trip (Japan).

Packaged in a standard jewel case with 4-page booklet.
