After its first album, SUR also functioned as a live band for a while (with Neža Trobec on vocals, Monika Fritz on backing vocals, Jure Praper on guitar, Aljaž Tulimirović on guitar, Samo Pečar on bass, Andrej Hrvatin on percussion and Borut Praper on drums). Also with this in mind, on its second album the band headed towards the more familiar (as most long-time musicians in the band were concerned) landscapes of alternative rock and focused often on some unusual odd time beats - the favourite hobby of SUR's drummer and main songwriter. Therefore the band's next "tangible" release, entitled 'Druga stran' ('Second Side'), is a bit different than the debut album, representing an interesting step in the development of the group and sounding a bit heavier than its predecessor.
