This three-record compilation album consists of rare live recordings of Benny Goodman and his orchestra (variously trio, quartet, sextet). Record One was recorded in May 1958 in Brussels, Belgium, while Record Two was recorded in March 1955 at Basin Street East, New York City. Record Three consists of live recordings, mostly of the Camel Caravan, from 1937 and 1938. Among the other featured performers are Harry James, Gene Krupa, Lionel Hampton, Teddy Wilson, Charlie Christian, and Zoot Sims.
