Notes
Tracks 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10 , 12 were all available on 12". Very rare but can be found (hey, try Discogs!) For easier access POD decided to release them all digitally! WAV files available!Track 1, 1988, Just Don´t Stop The Dance, the 1st release- the 1st record from LB Bad.
Track 2 has the pella that first appeared as the intro to New Age House on the 1999 Gigolo 12" (10 years after the original song was released). The pella also appears as the intro to Slams Past Lessons Future Theories.
Tracks 3 and 6 were directly inspired from Manuel Gottshings E-2 E-4. No samples, no musical theft, no copy, just INSPIRED from!
Track 9 the pella from the 12" on (Bads Label) LaRhon Record #33 The Who Am I? ep saying Everybody Wanna Be Hardcore. Sampled by many, most notably on Frankie Bones´Alot Of People.
Track 13 The Dream On version is the spoken word & retouch of Smokebelch 2 .
Smokebelch 2, is a COPY or cover version of L. B. Bad´s 1989 release called New Age Of Faith.
Smokebelch 2 reproduced by Andrew Weatherall. With mixes known as the entry, the ambient Mix, or simply the Cafe Del Mar version written and produced by the artist known as L.B. BAD.
Weatherall and Warp Records did a very good job keeping Mr. Bads name hush hush quiet and not listed on some releases and totally left out on any promotion of the song. Henceforth as Smokebelch topped dj playlists all over Europe, magazine charts, played on radio, tv shows and in films, and inspired many, any additional work, production, remixing, writing and djing and credit all went to Weatherall, leaving Mr. Bads role as originator only known to some chosen few.
