ABOUT THE TRIO:

Cathe, Nance & Doree started singing together in 1970 at a high school coffeehouse. / The combined musical accomplishments of the three girls: lead and supporting roles in the West Side Story, Guys and Dolls, Brigadoon and My Fair Lady ; participation in concert choir, girls' chorus, concert band (section leaders of saxophone and percussion sections, lead alto sax with jazz ensemble, jazz drums), all-state chorus, all-conference select band and choir, superior ratings in district and state solo and ensemble contests in both instrumental and vocal divisions. / The trio does its own vocal arrangements and accompaniments. / Previous appearances: Chaska High School pops concerts and Unconcerts ; The King's Chalet (Fridley, MN) ; The Cellar (Bloomington, MN) ; Orono High School Variety Show ; KTCA-Television (Channel 2, Mpls.-St. Paul) ; and the Minnesota State Capitol Building. / Future plans of the group involve continued activity as a trio while attending college at Bemidji State College and the University of Minnesota-Duluth. /
Steve Lenius is the recording engineer and album coordinator for the group. He has done sound effects and background music for Chimera Theater (St. Paul) and has been employed as a recording engineer by Educator's Publishing Service (Cambridge, Massachusetts). In addition to being employed as a graphics designer at Control Data Corporation, he is studying theater and communications at Hamline University (St. Paul).
