Notes
This mispressed version lists “Allocate” as track 7, but “Madolyn vs. The Sons” appears as both tracks 7 and 9. The attached track list reflects the actual tracks present on this CD. “Hunger” is slightly different on this version as well; the synth “wash” sound at the ending, present on the corrected version, is missing here. Other than a minor difference in the disc matrix, the mispressed CD is visually identical to the corrected version: the Matrix on the mispressed disc is “MOCD 1152 (V) ·”, with one trailing dot, while it is “MOCD 1152 (V) :” with a trailing colon, on the corrected version. This album was originally titled “Techno Theology”, but the label changed it for the sake of cleverness (as the band was from Dallas, TX).
Samples: “Satan Is Dead”: “Satan” sample from Butthole Surfers (and probably Orbital’s “Satan” also), “…is dead” from L.A. Style’s “James Brown Is Dead”; “Madolyn vs. the Sons” contains a sample likely of televangelist Pat Robertson.
Produced for N’ Soul Productions. Mixed at N’ Soul Studios, Canoga Park, CA. Executive produced for Partners in Tyme Productions.
