Notes
This release consists of two 10" 33-1/3 RPM records pressed in transparent yellow vinyl that are packaged in a standard jacket. The liner notes indicate that this release was presented to employees of Continental Airlines after an airline strike. Liner notes are signed by Robert F. Six and dated "August, 1966."Disk 1: Side A is labelled with a title of "Variations On The Proud Bird Theme," and contains titles for different movements in the track. Side B is unusual in that there is a groove that is widely-spaced throughout the side, with more narrow spacing towards the center of the disk. There is no audio encoded on any part of the groove though, and there is no matrix etched or stamped info in the dead wax area of side B. Side B contains a plain white label with no printing.
Disk 2: Side C is labelled with a title of "Advertising Based On You - Try It On For Sound" and consists of an instrumental track that fades out as narration begins from Robert F. Six, the CEO of Continental Airlines at the time of this release (1966, based on the liner notes). Side D is completely blank (with no grooves whatsoever), contains a plain white label and no matrix etching and stamping.
