In honor of Halloween, we proudly present a special live recording that captured a vibe and a spirit at our musical workspace, the Commercial Taphouse in our home of Richmond, VA, one night in 2010. On that night, we played the music of John Carpenter in all its glory, arranged accordingly, and silenced the full house almost immediately with the creeping melody of "The Fog." Using cues from a few of his best films, we created a continuous set of music mixing melody and improvisation in ways only possible in a working band. It was a project borne from our sincere love of John Carpenter, his near-flawless films, and his perfect compositions. We hope you enjoy this music as much as we enjoyed playing it on that night.
