This is an audio document of five weeks I spent Nepal in 1998. From Kathmandu - to Pokhara. And a trek to the villages behind Annapurna - Kagbeni and Marpha.

Everything was recorded on a simple hand-held cassette recorder.

This document is also the first time I used a computer to make any audio mixing. It was an experiment of what might become possible with this lo-fi material.

The result is like a an old film - dated, but not in a bad way - and something curious to re-listen to after all of these years. (Michael Northam)
