I'd bet The Ruths are the folks dressed in white on the cover. I've not found much additional information on the performers, but assume The Ruths were based in the Philadelphia area, as "Morgan Ruth and Rain" seem to have written and performed a musical for the Philadelphia Horticultural Society in 1977.
